Meet the Team
Mercedes Sovjani
Founder and Master Specialist
Mercedes has owned Hair Studio by Mercedes since 2009, delivering world-class service and style with every appointment. Trained in Torino, Italy, she brings more than 22 years of experience and a deep understanding of hair-color chemistry to create brilliant results on every hair type and texture. She is also known for precision, trend-forward cuts and is a certified Keratin specialist.
Thoma Sovjani
Co-Founder and General Manager
Thoma brings decades of management and hospitality experience to the salon, helping create the warm, professional atmosphere clients know and love. As co-founder and general manager, he oversees daily operations, supports the team, and ensures each guest receives attentive service from check-in to checkout.
Christina Dallaqua
Color | Keratin | Extensions
Christina is a licensed stylist originally from Long Island and has been part of Hair Studio by Mercedes for the past few years. She specializes in hair color services including highlights, root touch-ups, lowlights, and dimensional color. She is also licensed and highly skilled in Keratin treatments and extensions.
Donna Anastasio

Donna is a fully trained stylist and colorist with experience caring for all hair types. A Florida transplant from New York, she has worked at Hair Studio by Mercedes since opening in 2009. She specializes in highlighting, color, cutting, texturizing, and certified Keratin services, and is known for listening carefully and tailoring every service to her clients’ needs.
Michele Barton

Michele ("Shelly") was born and raised in Rochester, New York, and comes from a family legacy of stylists and barbers. As the honorary grandmother of the salon, she is loved for her welcoming, caring nature and the comfort she brings to every appointment. Shelly is dedicated to delivering a pleasant experience and making sure each client leaves feeling beautiful and satisfied.
Debbie Kyle

Debbie is a licensed stylist originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and has been part of Hair Studio by Mercedes for the past few years. She specializes in perms, haircuts, and hair color services, and is committed to helping every client find a look that feels both flattering and easy to maintain.

Walk-ins are welcome when available, but appointments are recommended for color, treatments, and event styling.

Appointment Cancellations
Please provide at least 24 hours notice to reschedule or cancel your appointment.
Refunds & Exchanges
Retail products with a receipt may be exchanged within 30 days for store credit.
Service Guarantee
If you are not fully satisfied with your cut or color, contact us within 5 days and we will make it right.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are non-refundable and must be presented at time of service.
